Definitive diagnosis is always made at laparoscopic or via laparotomy exploration performed for suspected ovarian torsion. Early diagnosis and conservative laparoscopic treatment especially in a reproductive age woman is warranted as a means of preserving fallopian tube integrity and maintaining fertility.
